Childswork Learning Center is a non-profit early childhood education school located in Southeast Portland, Oregon. Since 1984, our school has served a diverse population of children and families, focusing on the development of the whole child with respect and compassion.

Tuition and Class Schedule

We offer age-specific classes as well as multi-age classes with a broad choice of days and hours. Tuition is calculated based on the class your child is enrolled in.

Important information regarding tuition

Explorers:

Before school care is available beginning @ 7:30 am The cost is $6.00 per hour, with a 1/2 hour minimum charge. After school care is available until 5:30 pm The cost is $6.00 per hour, with a 1 hour minimum charge.

Fees:

There is a $150.00 NON-REFUNDABLE Registration Fee due with your class choice form.

Kindergarten:

There is a $150.00 NON-REFUNDABLE Registration Fee and $150.00 NON-REFUNDABLE Curriculum Fee due with your class choice form.

Tuition Deposit:

Childswork requires payment of one month's tuition with your payment contract. This will be applied to your June tuition. If your tuition deposit is not received with your payment contract your spot may be given to the next family on the wait list.

Please write your child's name and class on all checks.

There are several options for tuition payments. Please refer to the Tuition Payment policy in the Parent Handbook (PDF)

Cancellation Policy:

If you withdraw your child from Childswork Learning Center during the school year, it is required that you provide Childswork with written notification 30 days prior to the withdrawal date.
