Childswork Learning Center is a non-profit early childhood education school located in Southeast Portland, Oregon. Since 1984, our school has served a diverse population of children and families, focusing on the development of the whole child with respect and compassion.

Childswork is a safe place for children to explore, take chances, make messes and learn through play. At Childswork we nurture wonder, we embrace joy, and we foster discovery.

Openings

The first step in our placement process is to have families complete a Waitlist Form (PDF). Once this form is completed and returned with a $50.00 waitlist fee you will be placed on our waitlist according to the date you submitted the form.

In February we start the registration process for currently enrolled families for the upcoming school year. Once we have placed the currently enrolled families we start calling the wait list families, this usually begins in April-May.

The registration process continues until all classrooms are filled. When a space opens up, families will be contacted in the order that they appear on the waitlist.

Scholarships are available to help defer the cost.
