Childswork Learning Center is a non-profit early childhood education school located in Southeast Portland, Oregon. Since 1984, our school has served a diverse population of children and families, focusing on the development of the whole child with respect and compassion.

Childswork is a safe place for children to explore, take chances, make messes and learn through play. At Childswork we nurture wonder, we embrace joy, and we foster discovery.

Giving

Childswork Learning Center is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose goal is to be accessible to every child, regardless of their family’s abilities to pay. As such, it is part of Childswork’s philosophy to keep tuition levels affordable and to provide financial aid when necessary.

Because we strive to remain current in our training, our materials and our equipment, our costs are greater than the revenue supported through regular tuition. Childswork is committed to raising additional funds to help us support these goals.

The annual auction is our biggest fundraising event and provides critical dollars to support our program and provide scholarships. Other fundraisers include penny drives, Chinook Book sales and a fun run.
