Childswork Learning Center is a non-profit early childhood education school located in Southeast Portland, Oregon. Since 1984, our school has served a diverse population of children and families, focusing on the development of the whole child with respect and compassion.

Childswork is a safe place for children to explore, take chances, make messes and learn through play. At Childswork we nurture wonder, we embrace joy, and we foster discovery.

Enrollment

The enrollment process at Childswork usually begins with a tour. Families are welcome to attend a small group tour (with or without their children) to see a typical school day and observe a classroom in action.

Interested families then fill out a waitlist form (PDF) which provides the school with background information and class/schedule preferences. In February, we begin the registration and placement process with returning families. Once returning families are placed, we begin to place the children from the waitlist.

Enrollment forms for current families and their siblings can be downloaded from the enrollment email that was sent out on Feb 1st or in our school office.
