Classroom Representatives

Being a classroom representative is a fun and rewarding way to help at the classroom level, and to connect with the families in your class. Classroom Representatives are adults from each classroom that assist their teachers as needed and foster information sharing and communication amongst classroom families. Ideally there will be more than one classroom representative for each class. The teacher and classroom representatives will work together to define the representatives' roles, however, suggested duties include:

  • Help organize three Classroom Meetups per year
  • Help create a phone/email tree for the classroom
  • Send school communications to classroom families
  • Organize Teacher Appreciation Week appreciations
