Welcome to the New School Year!

We look forward to seeing you at Meet and Greets on Sept 8 and 9. See the calendar for the day that your class meets. Make sure you stop by and see the natural playscape! We have finished phases, 1, 2 and 3! Just waiting for some rain to do the planting.

We still have a few 2.7 spots and 3 year old spots left, mainly in the TTh classes. Please call for more information.

Thank you Depave!

Thank you Depave and its amazing group of volunteers as well as Childswork staff and families for your hard work in removing the asphalt from our playground on Saturday! We got it all done! We are one big step closer to our dream of a natural playscape for children to play in and explore! Thank you to Whole Foods Market for helping feed our hungry crew and Ruby Jewel for donating ice cream sandwiches as a special treat!

Help Us Break Ground for the new Natural Playscape!

Saturday, June 11, 2016 from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Volunteers of all ages are welcome to come lend a hand as we remove the asphalt on the small playground in preparation for our new natural playscape!!! Our partner, Depave, will provide all the necessary tools and safety gear. Refreshments and lunch will be provided. We’ll be starting at 9am and working until about noon.

Due to the physical nature of asphalt removal, volunteers are encouraged to wear long pants and clothing appropriate for tough work. Closed-toe shoes are required to depave – NO EXCEPTIONS.

Please let us know if you will be coming so we can plan accordingly. We hope to see you all there! More information about Depave and their work can be found on their website at www.depave.org.

For more information on how to apply, please go to the Scholarships section of the website under the Enrollment tab. We also work with the State of Oregon to provide financial aid to families who qualify for Employment Related Day Care (ERDC). Low-income working families may be eligible. See your local DHS office to see if you qualify. You must be enrolled in Childswork first before qualifying for Scholarships or Financial Aid.
